Apple set to launch what they call an, “Awe-Dropping Event” later today, 9/9/2025– Autumn is coming, the weather is getting cooler, some people are preparing for Halloween, and Apple is prepping for the release of thew newest generations of iPhones & their biggest event of the year. Some expected items include a brand-new iPhone: An all-new slimmer option, the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air and new spec additions. Their competitors have been showing flashing phones that flip or fold. And Apple is developing their own foldable phone and it may reach the market in 2026 or 2027. Apple may have had a few bumps on the road here and there, but in lieu of new products they still know how to some fans keep fans, and a few fanatics, eagerly awaiting iPhone launches. Samsung is gaining share (now accounting for 31% of all smartphone shipments up from 23%), and Apple is still in the lead in the US, but some analysts say if the Apple offering is way more expensive then some consumers will go for the lower-cost Google and Droid choices. Meanwhile Apple CEO Tim Cook has been in negotiations to keep tariff costs down. Their may be info on new AirPods and new Apple watches but will the prices go up due to tariffs? We shall see.
