This title is literal, not just figurative. In the 80s tobacco Philip Morris and RJ Reynolds bought some of the largest food companies. They have since sold them but a new federal lawsuit is claiming that the food industry is using the same practices that tobacco companies used to use. Have certain foods been known to be hazardous to health and has this been covered up? This is going to be a big topic for me ongoing. If this title rings familiar you may be a person who has heard in the past few years that the US consumes, too much sugar, too much carbohydrates, or, as in the main focus here, too much processed foods.
